actually goes wrong.
Yamanto was once a suburb of acreage blocks along Warwick Road and the Cunningham Highway, and those large properties are still there alongside newer estates and the Yamanto Central shopping precinct. The mix of old and new means plumbing enquiries range from ageing rural set-ups to brand-new homes.
Yamanto was built while drainage and plumbing materials were changing over, which means one house can have clay in the front yard and PVC out the back. Blockages here usually trace to one ageing section or a junction between the two, not the whole system. Original hot water systems, taps and drains across the suburb are now reaching the end of their service life at roughly the same time.
