Dinmore: what
actually goes wrong.
Dinmore is a small suburb of older homes alongside industrial land, the railway and Bundamba Creek. Many houses date from the mid-twentieth century, and the low ground near the creek and the Brisbane River has a long flood history.
Dinmore was built while drainage and plumbing materials were changing over, which means one house can have clay in the front yard and PVC out the back. Blockages here usually trace to one ageing section or a junction between the two, not the whole system. Original hot water systems, taps and drains across the suburb are now reaching the end of their service life at roughly the same time.
